Marriage Counseling Procedure

First, you and your spouse will meet with one of our highly-trained counselors in the Los Angeles area for a free consultation. We may be able to arrange to
come out to your home, if needed.

We will have you and your spouse fill out a short form with your basic information.

You and your spouse will be given a presentation which goes over the marriage counseling procedure so that you both have a basic concept of what will happen in
the counseling sessions.

Next, each of you will fill out a personality test which is 200 questions long. This may take as long as an hour. You will be able to see the test results when you arrive for your first counseling session.

After completing your tests, the counselor will give each of you a private interview so you can discuss what areas of your marriage or life need improvement.

Once you are signed up, you and your spouse will begin the marriage counseling starting with learning some basic data and terms which will give you the understanding to participate successfully in the marriage counseling process.

At this point, you and your spouse will be ready to receive the marriage counseling session. In your first counseling session you will be guided to the difficulties causing the problems in your marriage, and -- using a process to restore communication you will eliminate the source of the difficulties.

The process will be continued over the course of several sessions scheduled on consecutive days until it is complete. 

Once this process is complete you and your spouse will then do 2 courses together which teach the tools to create a happy marriage and keep it that way. These courses are supervised by a trained counselor.
